ABOUT CHLOÉ
Chloé is a practitioner of yoga and has been studying and practicing for the past five years. In 2023, Chloé visited India, the birthplace of yoga. She had the opportunity to immerse herself in various cultural and spiritual practices. This experience gave her a deeper respect for and understanding of yoga traditions. Having experienced the positive physical, mental and spiritual benefits of yoga, Chloé feels passionate about sharing these teachings and practices. Chloé enjoys learning about Indian art and history. She also studies Sanskrit, a classical Indian language – the traditional language of yoga.
YOGA STYLE
In these Yoga classes Chloé draws inspiration from traditional teachings and practices – Patañjali’s Yogasūtra, Haṭha Yoga Pradīpikā and Tāntra. These Yoga classes are aimed towards cultivating mental clarity, inner stillness and self-awareness.
WHO ARE THESE YOGA CLASSES FOR?

WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY YOGA CLASS?
The classes will introduce and develop upon yoga teachings and practices and demonstrate how they can be applied to everyday life. You will be guided through āsanas (postures) with the aim to develop strength, flexibility, balance and awareness in the body. In addition to the physical practice, you will be guided through prāṇāyāma (breathing practices) that allow prāṇa (life force energy) to flow freely within the body and to prepare the mind for concentration meditation. You will also be introduced to and develop upon simple Sanskrit mantras (sound vibrations), which aim to invoke specific energies in one’s life.
These are small group classes – maximum of 8 people.
WILL WE USE PROPS?
Props are optional, they are used to enhance the experience of the poses and to offer more support if needed.
WILL THE TEACHER ADJUST MY POSE?
Chloé will provide participants with posture variations to ensure that they feel stable and comfortable in the pose and to reduce risk of injury. Throughout the class Chloé gently offers suggestions for adapting, modifying or changing poses to suit your body so you can move through the practice with ease and at your own comfortable pace.
HOW WILL INJURIES OR PHYSICAL CHALLENGES BE RESPONDED TO?
Participants are asked to disclose any injuries and physical challenges prior to commencement of the class. If injuries or physical challenges are present Chloé will offer variations of the poses or recommend alternative poses. In any such event that an injury occurs during a class, she will respond to the participant’s needs.
