WHO ARE THESE YOGA CLASSES FOR?
Suitable for all levels.
These classes are particularly suited to those looking for:
• Gentle, supportive movement
• Stress management, tension and nervous system regulation
• Time to slow down and reset
• A quieter, more restorative approach to yoga
CLASS STYLES
Restorative Yoga
60-minute class blending flow and yin.
Expect gentle movement, simple strengthening sequences and longer-held poses, with plenty of time to relax and unwind.
Yin Yoga + Relaxation
60-minute yin practice with longer holds and deep rest.
A slower class designed to release tension, settle a busy mind and tired body. The class finishes with an extended period of guided relaxation for a complete reset.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY YOGA CLASS?
Classes are kept small, with a maximum of 8–10 people, creating a safe and supportive space to practise.
There’s no pressure to perform. You won’t find headstands or complicated sequences here - just gentle, accessible movement and space to listen to your body and practise at your own pace.
Classes respond to the seasons, with practice adapting to what the body needs at different times of the year.
Leave feeling a little better.
WILL WE USE PROPS?
Yes. Props are an important part of the practice and will be used in all classes to foster comfort, support and rest.
Students are encouraged to bring their own props, such as a mat, bolster, block and strap.
WILL THE TEACHER ADJUST MY POSE?
No hands-on adjustments are given.
Abbey will guide the group throughout the class and offer verbal cues or modifications where needed.
HOW ARE INJURIES OR PHYSICAL CHALLENGES APPROACHED?
Students are encouraged to listen to their bodies and take a preventative approach to their practice.
Please let Abbey know before class about any existing injuries, health conditions or physical limitations that may affect your practice. This allows her to offer appropriate modifications and support.
If anything doesn't feel right during class, you are always encouraged to stop, rest or modify the practice. Yoga should not be painful.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR OR BRING?
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the season.
Additional layers and/or a blanket are welcome, particularly during relaxation when the body naturally cools down.
