Our practitioners are all skilled and experienced professionals. We are a group of like minded individuals who have come together as a team to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Our Osteopaths are all registered with AHPRA, the national registry board for health practitioners, and are registered for private health insurance rebates.

Dr. Katie Milbourne

Osteopath

Katie joined the Be Well Health Group in 2016 after living most of her life in country Victoria. Katie places an emphasis on holistic health care and believes in good communication to educate her patients about their wellbeing. She enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions but has a passion for keeping the elderly members of our community as active as they would like to be.

Approach: Katie uses a variety of manual techniques such as articulation, soft tissue massage and manipulation, as well as using very gentle and indirect myofascial and biodynamic techniques.

Dr. Jess Hyde

Osteopath

Jess graduated from RMIT University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Complementary Medicine) and a Master of Osteopathy. She has been a valued member of the Be Well team ever since. Jess enjoys treating all types of conditions and patients of all ages - from babies and children, to adults and the elderly. She is also interested in assisting women during and after pregnancy.

Approach: Jess uses a wide range of techniques from soft tissue massage and manipulation, to a more gentler indirect style of treatment, and is also trained in dry needling. She is a big believer in tailoring her treatment to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Darcy Caddy

Osteopath

Darcy graduated from Victoria University in 2019. He treats each patient as an individual, tailoring personalised management plans for every patient. Darcy places emphasis on patient education and understanding for the management of their conditions both in the treatment room and in day-to-day life with exercise and advice.

Approach: Darcy uses a wide range of manual techniques including soft tissue techniques, manipulation and articulation, as well as incorporating a number of indirect techniques where appropriate. Darcy‘s functional movement assessment helps him to devise management programs and rehabilitation strategies which he tailors to the individual at hand.

Dr. Liam O’Neill

Osteopath

Liam graduated from RMIT University in 2022 with a double degree in Health Science and Applied Sciences (Osteopathy). He has recently joined the Be Well team and is excited to begin his journey working with the Greater Geelong community. Liam enjoys treating a wide range of conditions and has a keen interest in managing sporting injuries and helping individuals get back to exercise. 

Approach: Liam uses a range of direct techniques such as manipulation, soft tissue techniques, dry needling and articulation. He also incorporates indirect techniques where appropriate and has a keen interest in enhancing patients’ functional capacity to improve their quality of life. In addition to hands on treatment, Liam emphasises the importance of education and provides exercise prescription to promote long-term outcomes.

Liam is available Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Online booking available. 

 

Cassandra Sinnott

Myotherapist

Cassie graduated from Endeavour College of Natural Health in 2022 with a Bachelor of Health Science (Myotherapy). She has a passion for helping her patients achieve their goals and places an emphasis on giving her patients holistic care. Cassie enjoys treating a wide variety of conditions and patients.  

Approach: Cassie uses a variety of manual techniques including soft tissue massage, cupping, dry needling, manual lymphatic drainage, joint & neural mobilisation, intramuscular electrical stimulation (electro dry needling), muscle energy techniques, taping & exercise prescription. Cassie uses in depth assessment to help tailor the treatment to the individual patient.

Sarah Gerritsen

Remedial Massage Therapist

Member of Massage & Myotherapy Australia

Sarah graduated as a Remedial Massage Therapist from the Gordon in 2021 and is currently studying Osteopathy at Victoria University. Sarah has a passion for helping patients to improve their mobility and recovery. Sarah invites her patients to give feedback intermittently during treatments to maximise its benefit and efficacy and, in-turn, improve patient outcomes.

Approach: Sarah uses a wide range of manual techniques including soft and deep tissue massage, cupping and dry needling. Sarah’s treatment incorporates a client based assessment to tailor the treatment to the individual.

Lisa Dyson

Psychologist

Lisa has worked in a range of community and private mental health setting for 20 years. She works with children, adolescents, adults and couples in a client focused and collaborative manner. Her main focus areas include (but not limited to) trauma, anxiety, depression, adjustment, relationship difficulties, grief and loss, anger management, personality issues, Bipolar, childhood emotional and behavioural problems, attachment difficulties, emotion dysregulation and interpersonal difficulties.

Approach: Lisa is passionate about living the fullest and most fulfilling life possible through promoting healthy coping strategies, balanced relationships and helpful thought processes. She works dynamically with the evidence based techniques and theories of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness, Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and trauma informed practice including Prolonged Exposure.

Dr. Kimina Lyall

Clinical Psychologist & Yoga Teacher

Kimina is a gender-affirming Clinical Psychologist who embraces diversity, understands the impact of social and structural inequity in mental health challenges, and seeks to support people to live their best possible life. She specialises in working with trauma and believes that trauma is an injury that can be healed. She brings her whole self to her work and encourages her clients to as well. She is a proud member of the LGBTIQ+ community. Kimina practices in a holistic way to understand clients’ goals and values and to support them to live life according to those values.

Approach: Kimina uses Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has been privileged to observe clients achieve significant healing with this approach. She also works with Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and other mindfulness-based and cognitive therapies. Her primary focus is to discover the best approach that works for the person in the room with her.

Kimina works with adults and older adolescents (16+).

Kimina is also a yoga teacher and offers group yoga and psychological therapy for trauma.

Shannon Corrie

Chinese Medicine Practitioner

Member of Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association

Shannon has a bachelor of health science with a major in acupuncture from Endeavour Collage of Natural Medicine. She enjoys treating a broad range of conditions but has a particular interest in chronic pain, gut health, mental health including stress and anxiety, as well as cosmetic acupuncture.

Approach: Chinese Medicine generally includes acupuncture and can be combined with other auxiliary techniques and services such as cupping, massage, gua sha and patient herbal formulas. Diet and lifestyle advice may also be incorporated. All treatments are individualised for each patient.
